Day 1 we cover the 0 and 1 times table. For the 0 times table we start at the North Pole with 0 time left to prep. Students learn and apply the zero property and have a paper snowball fight. Then they we learn the identity property as we travel to Sweden and learn about Christmas there. As Santa travels, we move him around on the map.

Part of my large Christmas multiplication unit, this is the passport my students will be using as they follow Santa from country to country, multiplying, doing activities and learning about Christmas around the world.
