Students will drag and drop the correct statements or reasons and place in the correct category. I give detailed instructions on how to use this as a google activity, paper notes, or use it in your google classroom.

I love having my students do station work. It gets them moving around the room, working with partners, and discussing how to solve the problem. That is exactly what this station maze does.  I would use this activity as a review to see if they understand how to set up the algebraic equations when solving segments and angles. I have given some angle and addition postulates, midpoints, bisector, straight angles and right angles. There will be 10 stations, an answer sheet, and a worksheet for your

I love having my students do station work. It gets them moving around the room, working with partners, and discussing how to solve the problem. That is exactly what this station maze does.  In this activity, they will solve for distance and midpoint on a number line. It's a simple activity that will hopefully get them to memorize the formulas or find a different way to work the problems. There will be 8 stations, an answer sheet, and a worksheet for your students to turn in.

It's 3 weeks into the year and you have already given out 7 worksheets. The students are complaining and wanting something else. Well this is for you. You can easily use your own worksheet to pair with this Google Sheet. All the students have to do is type in their answer in the answer column. If they answer correctly part of the mystery picture will appear but if they answer incorrectly nothing will appear. It's a great way to get them to do something different AND they can check their answers.

I find that when students are doing PowerPoints or notes it is best that they have breaks. These notes give your students the ability to come up to the board and draw, draw on their own notes, and they give you a chance to have an informal assessment. This slide gives the students a place to refer back to the vocabulary and most importantly how to name and write the vocabulary of Points, Lines, and Planes. I give detailed instructions on how to use this as a google activity, paper notes, or us

This is a fun activity for students to do in Partners. It is not a Google Activity to do online. It can be done but it would be more fun to do as a worksheet. This product allows students to be able to teach others if they make mistakes. I have found that students learn better if they are learning from a peer and having to explain how they got the answer helps them better understand the subject material. Please note: you must have a google account to open this. Instructions for assessing the p

Simplifying Radicals is anything but simple for some students. They try to make it more complicated than it is. That is why I have broken down the steps for each one. They first will be given the radical, they then will match it up with the prime factors, group them, and finally be given the simplified version. The students will see the answers in a step-by-step plan. Once they master the steps they can move on and try it on their own without the steps.

Experience

I have taught secondary math for 7 years. I have taught Algebra 1, and Algebra 2, but my favorite subject is Geometry.

Teaching style

I like to spend as little time on notes as possible, 5-10 minutes max. I think it is a good idea to give students a good starting point but have them discover the way it works on their own. Occasionally, I use Pear Deck for notes if I want to use a PowerPoint, but I use videos to show how to solve. I love using Google Slides, Forms, or sheets for their interactive worksheets. My schools have all been 1-1 so I try to focus most of my creativity on digital worksheets. If you have any questions or need help with ANYTHING please let me know.
