I use this lesson with my K - 4 students as a center activity. Students use both the right and left brain sides of their brain to create towers found in nature.

My students can't wait for the first of each month, it's when they are allowed to work with the right side of their brain. The creative side. It is truly amazing to see what they individually come up with when given the exact same shape.
