Excellent 1st week of school lesson to help students take personal responsibility for their actions and behavior to create a positive learning environment for peers and teachers .

This lesson is an incredibly fun way to teach logical problem solving and process of elimination. The students don’t really know they are learning test taking strategies, they just think it’s fun.

I use this lesson with my K - 4 students as a center activity. Students use both the right and left brain sides of their brain to create towers found in nature.

Thinking Outside The Box – Literally! This activity is a great one to “force” ideas. To show the students they can create new ideas even when they say I can’t. Another fun was to promote creative thinking.
