I have experience with teaching special education at both the elementary and middle school levers. As a teacher, I often constructed my own resources to fit the needs of my students. While my primary focus was learning disabilities, I also worked with students with emotional behavioral disorders.
Teaching style
Kids need to know the expectations right away and some expectations need to be taught. Kids also need someone to love and understand them as they navigate through difficult times. I prefer to make learning as interesting as possible at scaffold work to meet the needs of students.

My own education history
I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and graduated with a dual major in elementary and special education.
