This is a mini unit that compares the gingerbread man story and the Lamington man story. VennDiagram Rhyming Word Activity Measuring Distance - Ruler use Book cover creation for kids Body part cut and paste I use the book the lamington man by Kel Richards to do the comparison and read this and then show the children a youtube video of the gingerbread man story. This forms the basis for all the activities in the mini-unit.

This is a sample of a game requires you to purchase a few little nicks and nacks that you might have already lying round the classroom or home. Ideas were taken from the TV show Minute to Win It! A fun game for end of the day or school terms. I play this game in three groups and give them points for each game they play. Majority of the games are played within a minute or the first person to do it within a few minutes gets the most points. Its funny to see what some of the children do! Totally l
