About the store
Hello! I have been lucky enough to teach 5th and 6th grade math over the course of the past two years! I am also currently studying Curriculum and Instructional Design and I love to apply that to the products that I make. I have received the second highest test scores in the state where I most recently taught - and love to take a practical approach to creating material. Although I have worked a lot with upper elementary students, I also enjoy the fundamentals of math education. I am currently exploring more on how to build strong mathematicians from an early age!

Differentiated math center/math tasks great for a variety of activities. Can even be used for a game of scoot! Each card contains six math problems and there are 4 cards for each "level". The accompanying answer sheet allows learners to explain their thinking and come up with alternate ways to solve the problems. Also could be useful in a game of scoot. : ) Offered in black and white, as well as color. This is truly a great resource to show kids "when they'll use math in real life". Names and r

Teaching style

I have a very practical, no frills, not too much fuss approach to math problem solving. I love to give practical, real life problems for my students to solve. I also don't mind if they struggle a bit. : ) I think perseverance is the key to problem solving and work just as hard at expanding minds as I do hitting math standards.
