Teaching style

In my classroom—and throughout the resources in this store—I emphasize hands-on learning to help students actively engage with mathematical concepts. I believe that math is best understood through exploration, application, and meaningful practice. At the Advanced Placement (AP) level, I recognize the need for both remediation and enrichment materials. Some students need extra support to reinforce fundamental skills, while others are ready to dive deeper into complex topics. That’s why my resources include a balance of review materials, practice problems, and challenge activities to meet students where they are. I also incorporate graphic organizers and guided notes to help students navigate the rigorous curriculum. These structured tools break down difficult concepts, making them more approachable and easier to retain.

My own education history

Hi there! I’m a passionate mathematics educator with a strong background in both academia and industry. I earned my Mathematics degree from William Paterson University, along with a minor in Business Administration—a combination that gave me a deep understanding of both theoretical and applied math. Before stepping into the classroom, I worked in the financial industry, where I put my knowledge of statistics to practical use, analyzing data and making informed decisions. However, my love for teaching led me to education, where I’ve spent the past decade helping high school students master AP Statistics, Algebra, and Advanced Geometry. To further enhance my teaching, I pursued a Master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University. This has allowed me to integrate innovative tech tools into my lessons, making math more engaging and accessible for all learners.
