Print the page on any color. I like to give my students choices. I use heavy duty Spray Mount (outdoors or in well ventilated area) to glue the pages to the covers. They will last all year! HOW: Print file. Spray back with spray glue. Butt the page up against the spine tape on the left. Run finger across the center and smooth out top and bottom. The idea of reading SIX BOOKS can be overwhelming for the reluctant or challenged reader. Teaching style

I encourage imaginative thinking and writing for the sheer joy of it. I enjoy moments of jaw-dropped wonder at the grand ideas my students come up with. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students by empowering them to think great thoughts and make great things.

My own education history

Raised by a Dutch educator from the Netherlands My childhood was enriched with Visual Art and combined learning Military Child - Attended over 10 different schools and 3 HS's. Studied Communications at USC. Focus on Journalism, minor in Graphic Arts. Studied Graphic Arts and French at Newbury College, UK. Certified in Supplies and Requisitions, USAF. Certified in Adobe Photoshop. I speak English, Dutch, some French, some German, (Military Childhood!) and I am learning Spanish. (I am always learning something!)

Additional biographical information

I'm a world traveler, a dreamer, a designer, a writer, and a teacher. I have taught Book Making, Creative Writing, Reading, Scenic Painting with Oils, Watercolors and Acrylics, Printmaking, Clay Works, Wire Mobile Making, Cursive Writing, and Self Portraiture with Oil Pastels to students ages 4 and up. My current focus is to teach Reading, Writing, and Spelling to our struggling students. My heart goes out to them.
