STEAM crazy

This multiclass lesson is well suited to students between 9th-12th grade. Use this lesson as a part of a comprehensive Human Biology curriculum or simply as a great STEM plug lesson. This activity lends itself well to a 50-point gradebook input. I also allow 6 points for extra credit if the students are willing/ able to write a song! This 2-hour lesson is well suited to students between 6th-9th grade. Use this lesson as a part of a comprehensive botany curriculum, as a part of a study of the State of Connecticut or simply as a great STEM plug/sub lesson.This lesson provides an overview of common Connecticut Plants including poisonous varieties, flowering plants, and native tree species. Students will then complete a discovery search to deep dive into the differences between deciduous and boreal forests. Included Materials: 1

At the end of each quarter, this rubric is used to assess student participation & behavior in class. Teachers fill in their name, the grade before printing. Write in student's names, class section and quarter # while assessing each student. Rubric out of 32 points with spot to change this into % grade.
