With over 23 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about empowering students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. I specialize in STEAM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics — as well as aerospace and aeronautical education, with a focus on middle and high school students.
Throughout my career, I have developed a wide range of classroom-tested curriculum resources designed to make complex topics accessible, meaningful, and fun. My resources include STEM challenges, robotics and coding activities, aviation simulations, math games, digital classroom tools, engineering projects, classroom decor, and interactive learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Teaching style
My teaching style is centered on creating a supportive, engaging, and hands-on learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. I believe in integrating real-world applications into my lessons, especially in STEM and aviation topics, to help students see the relevance of what they are learning in their everyday lives.
I use a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning, collaborative activities, and interactive simulations, to ensure that every student can connect with the material in a meaningful way. Whether it’s through gamified learning experiences, inquiry-based projects, or creative classroom decor, I strive to foster a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
I also prioritize differentiation in my teaching, adapting my resources to meet the needs of all learners. By providing clear instructions, scaffolded support, and opportunities for independent thinking, I ensure that students feel both challenged and supported in their educational journey.

My own education history
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook and a Master of Education from Long Island University. My educational journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior, learning theories, and effective teaching strategies, which I incorporate into my classroom every day.
I am also certified in K-9 Science, K-9 Math, and K-12 Computer Science, which reflects my dedication to providing students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in both traditional academic subjects and in the growing fields of technology and innovation.
