Photosynthesis is the process in which plants manufacture food. This document describes the process of photosynthesis. During the process of photosynthesis, light, carbon dioxide, water, chlorophyll and nutrients/chemicals are needed for photosynthesis to occur in green plants. The plant’s leaves use the light to make a sugar called glucose. In this document, students learn about the process of photosynthesis at a very elementary level.
