Additional biographical information

I began my career teaching middle school, high school, and college STEM courses in both online and face-to-face settings. Over the years, I’ve taught General Physical Science and Mathematics at the middle school level, to Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, and Physics in high school, and General Chemistry and Basic Mathematics in college. My teaching journey naturally opened the door to instructional design, where I could influence learning at scale. I’ve partnered with universities, professional organizations, and EdTech companies to design blended and online learning for both K–12 and adult learners. This includes developing PD for STEM educators on topics like NGSS, inquiry-based learning, game-based learning, engineering design, and project-based learning. I’ve written, edited, and reviewed hundreds of educational materials and ensured that each one aligned with instructional design best practices. I bring that same care and attention to the resources I create for Teachers Pay Teachers. My goal is to create learning experiences that empower students to be critical consumers of information and to make evidence-based decisions. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope my resources make your work easier and support your instructional goals.
