About the store
Welcome to my store! 🍎 I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a passionate educator with over 15 years of classroom experience, and I love creating meaningful, engaging resources that support teachers and inspire students across a wide range of learning levels. I'm a Texas educator with a passion for creating high-impact, classroom-tested resources that push students to achieve at the highest levels. My materials are born from a proven track record of success—after achieving the highest test scores in my district, I was selected by district leadership to mentor fellow teachers in replicating those results. 🚀 Inside, you’ll find a diverse range of STEM products: Science (Grades 4–6): Lessons designed to bridge foundational concepts with advanced thinking, adaptable for varying ability levels. 🧪 Computer Science & Engineering (Grades 6–10): Specialized curriculum originally developed for middle schoolers earning high school credit, as well as on-level 9th and 10th-grade students. 💻 🤖 Specialized Robotics Pathways My robotics curriculum is strategically scaffolded to transition students from foundational concepts to advanced engineering. I developed a multi-level program that utilizes the best of modern robotics platforms: 6th Grade | Fundamentals of STEM & Coding: My introductory curriculum builds a rock-solid foundation in the Engineering Design Process through high-energy, hands-on challenges. Students dive into the fundamentals of robotics and computer science using Sphero and Sphero Mini robots, where they transition from basic block-based logic to complex Scratch programming. These lessons are designed to spark curiosity and technical proficiency, masterfully bridging the gap between elementary science and advanced middle school engineering. 🔵✨ 7th Grade | LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime: I use this system to introduce students to the Invention Squad mindset. Students master the basics of drivetrains, sensors (color, distance, and force), and prototyping. They learn to build agile robots and use Scratch-based (or Python) coding to solve complex, real-world missions. 🧱 8th Grade | VEX IQ System: For my advanced students, we transition to the VEX IQ platform to dive deeper into mechanical foundations. This includes a rigorous focus on gear ratios, torque, mechanical advantage, and complex mechanisms like 4-bar linkages and advanced intake systems. This prepares them for high school-level robotics and competitive engineering standards. ⚙️ By utilizing both systems, I ensure students are not just "building toys," but are actually following the Engineering Design Process—testing, iterating, and documenting their work in engineering notebooks just like professionals. 🚀 Each resource is meticulously aligned with standards and designed to save you prep time while delivering "top-of-the-district" results. Whether you're looking for advanced middle school content or foundational elementary science, these lessons are built to help your students excel! ✨ Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students from ages 3 to 18, giving me a deep understanding of how learners grow, think, and engage at each stage. My background includes 7 years teaching 5th grade science, where I focused on building strong foundational knowledge through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. I also spent 4 years teaching middle school (6th–8th grade) computer science, engineering, and robotics, helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world STEM skills. In addition to the classroom, I have served as a robotics coach for 8 years at both the elementary and middle school levels 🤖. This experience has strengthened my ability to design collaborative, high-engagement STEM challenges that truly excite students. I am also a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in computer science and have worked as a curriculum writer for a digital learning platform serving students across the United States, where I develop standards-aligned, accessible, and impactful content for diverse learners. I hold certifications to support Career and Technical Education (CTE) with a focus on 6–12 Technology Education, as well as Elementary & Middle School Generalist. In my current role, I serve as the CTE department lead for an online EdTech company, supporting program development and collaboration across our team. My goal is to create resources that are not only rigorous and standards-aligned, but also practical, engaging, and easy for teachers to implement. Whether you're a new teacher or a seasoned educator, I’m excited to support you with tools that help your students explore, create, and innovate ✨ Thank you for being here and for all that you do for your students!

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in the belief that students thrive when they are both supported and challenged. I design lessons that provide clear structure and guidance, while intentionally incorporating opportunities for students to think critically, problem-solve, and apply their learning in meaningful ways. My approach is both inquiry-based and student-centered, encouraging learners to ask questions, explore concepts deeply, and take an active role in their learning. I strive to balance strong foundational instruction with opportunities for students to investigate, collaborate, and create; all while pushing them beyond surface-level understanding into deeper, strategic thinking. Through engaging, thoughtfully designed lessons, I aim to create a classroom environment where students feel confident taking risks, own their learning, and grow into independent, capable problem-solvers prepared for real-world challenges.
