Experience

I’ve taught middle school engineering, mathematics, and AP Physics, and I’ve led students through Project Lead The Way’s Design & Modeling and Automation & Robotics courses. I specialize in creating resources that make rigorous concepts hands-on, creative, and approachable — whether it’s in a middle school makerspace or a high school classroom!

Teaching style

I believe that learning sticks best when it happens in an environment that feels safe, positive, and uplifting. My classroom is fun, curious, and problem-solving based, but always grounded in patience and low-pressure engagement. I prioritize my students as individuals — paying attention to their personalities, learning styles, and growth. I think about what kind of experience will help each student thrive, and I gently challenge them from a place of care and confidence-building. Whether we’re tackling a tricky math/physics concept or building something hands-on in engineering, I want every student to leave class feeling positive, capable, and inspired — ready to enjoy learning and imagine a future in math, science, or engineering.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Physics, along with my secondary teaching certification for grades 6–12. I later completed my M.Ed. in Educational Technology and Instructional Design, where I focused on creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that use technology with purpose, not just for show. My background blends strong content knowledge with practical classroom design — which is exactly how I approach every resource I create.
