The students will be introduced to Iggy Peck, Architect through a story map and character traits ditto. They will begin to explore what an architect does and look at bridge design, focusing on geometry. The students will have 3 hands-on labs to complete this unit: "Which paper column can hold the most books?", "Build a truss bridge using craft sticks" and "Bridge building STEM challenge using EDP."
