This is a ppt that presents quantitative data describing the state of the world in the year 2021. It focuses on the depletion of five key natural resources: fish, forests, fossil fuels, forests and minerals. Data is presented in tables and a brief analysis is given after each table. The main purpose of these slides is to allow students to think about world affairs while getting some practice with numeracy skills.

This is a ppt for the different calculus topic "volume of solids of a known cross section". The two examples are challenging yet interesting: finding the volume of balloons you could fit inside the Eiffel tower's frame and finding the volume of a starfruit. It's recommended for students that think calculus is easy and are looking for a real challenge.

This is a PPT that I made while teaching ESL to students in China. It's designed to give ESL students a better understanding of what English is and where is came from. I would usually present the first few slides and then students would take turns presenting slides to the class, practicing their English while they read the text. Despite its original use for teaching ESL, I feel much of it can also be used in regular English and Social Studies classes.

In this pack of teaching materials are about three days worth of powerpoints and worksheets that can introduce the biology part of junior high science in a very efficient and engaging way. Included here is an picture identification activity to introduce characteristics of living things, a worksheet where students will describe characteristics of a plant and animal of their choice, an introduction to cell theory powerpoint and vocabulary worksheet and an introduction to cell structures worksheet.
