Students will investigate a real, current engineering development and present their findings to the class.

This is intended to be a review worksheet for energy transformation. Students will be asked to find examples around their classroom and school where energy is transforming at least three times. For each example, they must describe what is happening, then designate what types of energy transfer are occurring (in order).

In this project, students will work together in teams of 2 or 3 to design lunar colonies. This project includes an Engineer's Notebook portion, research prompts, and a rubric. Project breakdown: Have students complete the Establishing a Lunar Colony - Research & Sources of the project (roughly 2 days).
