This is intended to be a review worksheet for energy transformation. Students will be asked to find examples around their classroom and school where energy is transforming at least three times. For each example, they must describe what is happening, then designate what types of energy transfer are occurring (in order).
In this activity, students are tasked with finding examples of simple machines acting within a compound machines around their school. For each example they are asked draw a diagram of the machine and identify the specific simple machine within it, then explain how the compound machine makes work easier for its user.
