Any other material you can find
around your classroom
Challenge your students to create a balloon zip line using the engineering design process. Includes a video with instruction if students get stuck.

2 balloons (1 for each person)
1 straw
Tape
String
Scissors
Rules:
You must use all of the materials
You may not use any other materials
You can tie the string to things you find in your classroom.

Students have to work together to get Fred (a worm) back into his boat with his life preserver on (a lifesaver) Students can only use 2 paper clips for the challenge and cannot use their hands.
