Students engineer a race car and track.Using some creativity and some magnets, students race a car around a paper plate track. A great activity for STEM lessons and cooperative learning.
Materials:
• Large paper plate
• 2 round magnets
• Popsicle stick
• White cardstock
• Scissors, markers
This STEM activity is aligned to meet the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
Students interact and engage with one another while exploring how pushing objects of different materials can produce different results.
Students also explore engineering a domino track.
