Marking Period & Parent Teacher Conference Progress Report Editable Template

You really never know when you're going to need to pull data on a student, and this progress report is the best data tracker I've used so far in my career. Every time my students take an assessment or I test their reading level for the marking period, I write in how they did. At the end of every marking period, I send these home to parents to justify my marking period grades on students' report cards. Not only is this a great snapshot of student progress, but parents (or teachers) can pass these

Skip Counting in Numbers Anchor Charts

Perfect for elementary and middle school, these skip counting number posters are ideal for math teachers and specialists. I've designed these to have each number in numeral form with basic skip counting facts up to 12 inside each number. Even though I only use these as anchor charts in my 2nd grade classroom, my colleagues in 3rd use these during math centers for small groups and while students are working on their own. Why is this amazing?* Promotes academic independence * Colorful (but not ove

Perfect for lower elementary, these 10-frame posters are ideal for math instruction and math centers. I've designed these to have each number in numeral form, word form, and in pictorial form using counters on a 10-frame. Above the Board Alphabet Letter Posters (Anchor Charts)

Whether you teach Pre-k, 6th, or even adult ESL/ELL, alphabet letter posters are just a staple in a classroom. I've designed these to have an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and picture that you can use as a drill sound for learning the sounds of our alphabet. My current 2nd grade students especially use the B, D, S, and Z posters to help them when writing and we even refer to these during phonics instruction. Black History Month & Women's History Month LAPBOOK (BHM WHM Research Project)

I'm so happy to share one of my favorite projects of the school year: Black History Month & Women's History Month LAPBOOK Writing Research Project. With the crossover between Black female historians, I combined both of these observances into a research project. When I did this project with my 3rd graders last year, I used this as a way to extend our Information Writing topic. Projects were then posted to my hallway bulletin board! I've made both versions of this project, and depending on your

Student Goal Chart Behavior Management Supports + Bonus Month Chart

For anyone looking for a behavior accountability chart for daily and monthly use, this is for you. I developed this for students who I suspected may need extra support this year. These charts have helped me collect data for 504/IEPs and have helped keep in communication with parents. I like to motivate students with *free* in class rewards such as not wearing shoes, and includes a whole choice board for students to choose from daily or monthly when they meet their goals. Teaching style

I love to teach with empathy but also with logic and responsibility. Every single part of our experience in front of students can be a teaching point, and I pride explaining reasoning to children so they can comprehend their own decisions and choices. I also love to be goofy with my students and decorate my classroom in a way that is cozy. The best thing my students have ever said to me this year is that they love coming to our classroom because it "feels like home."

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was handed a booger this year during morning meeting. I did not vom and kept my composure. A true award and shining teacher moment.
