About the store
I have just finished teaching a Grade 3 special needs class and I begin 2026 looking forward to running the training course for a disadvantaged area in Cape Town. Over the last few years I have developed a curriculum that encourages personal growth and reflection, supplements literacy and numeracy gaps and prepares the women to become caring, capable palliative carers. I began my teaching journey with 10 years as a High School Biology and General Science teacher. Once I became a mother, my adventure continued into early childhood development for 15 years. I spent 6 years teaching Cambridge Primary. Over the last couple of years, I have been part of the development of curricula for upskilling young adults without a school leaving certificate in Cape Town, South Africa.

Experience

I have just finished teaching a Grade 3 special needs class and I begin 2026 looking forward to running the training course for a disadvantaged area in Cape Town. Teaching style

My goal is to make all learning, especially science accessible and engaging for all students—regardless of their literacy level or learning style. I believe every student can succeed when given the right opportunities, and it’s our job as teachers to help each one discover how. That’s why I embrace a growth mindset and design resources that support active, collaborative, and multidisciplinary learning. I prioritize connection in the classroom—between teacher, student, and peers—because strong relationships foster deeper learning. I value character development just as much as academic success, and I love creating opportunities for students to think independently, apply concepts thoughtfully, and express their creativity. As a fellow educator, I also know how busy teachers are. That’s why I focus on creating high-quality, minimal-prep resources that are ready to use—so you can spend less time planning and more time doing what matters most: teaching and connecting with your students.

Additional biographical information

As a proud parent of two incredible young adults who lead with passion, empathy, and a love of learning, I’ve seen firsthand the power of focusing on the process—not just the outcome. My son is now a dedicated math teacher at a special needs high school, and both of my children have followed paths fueled by curiosity and heart. Watching them grow into kind, responsible individuals has been one of my greatest joys. As a classroom teacher, I know how hard it is to find time to create meaningful, student-centered resources that meet learners where they are. That’s why I’ve created this store—to offer the kinds of materials I always wished I had: flexible, engaging, and designed to empower students to connect with content through their unique strengths.
