In this product, students will practice identifying the bossy R. There are two sorts (one with one syllable R-controlled vowel words and one with multisyllabic words). There is a slide for students to practice reading and writing words with R controlled vowel, as well as a silly passage for them to read and highlight words with the identified pattern in them. Included are teacher slides, handouts, a checklist and rubric to use for teaching.
