This is an activity used with Ernest Cline's novel Ready Player One. Students complete tasks and challenges similar to "The Hunt" and compete for first place. Students will need internet access to complete the activity. The activities will test students knowledge of the 1980s!

Students compare and contrast "The Gift of the Magi" to "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas" and any other film version. Students compare and contrast the three using a Venn diagram. Students will then write a paragraph identifying the theme and providing text evidence to support the claim.

This activity requires students to create a collage based on Khaled Hosseini's novel The Kite Runner in groups. This activity should be used after reading the novel and it requires poster boards, old magazines, construction paper, scissors, glue, and/or coloring materials.

This is a resource for William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. It is a prologue study that can be done independently and works great for students who are absent on the prologue study day.
