Are They Congruent? Rigid Transformations Activity
Help your students build a solid understanding of congruence through hands-on exploration of rigid transformations! In this activity, students use patty paper or tracing paper to test whether shapes are congruent to a given original figure. As they work, students determine if each shape can be mapped onto the original using a rotation, reflection, or translation.
