One year I printed a stack of blank book review pages and students could fill them out whenever they wanted to (with a small incentive!) Afterwards they were put into a class collection. By the end of the year we had a beautiful book full of reviews.

These slides include the names of the planets as well as one informational slide about each. The accompanying slide includes a cartoon picture and a simple sentence about the planet (for example "Venus is hot." and "We live on Earth"). They can be used to introduce the names of the planets, review the names of the planets, or to practice reading or writing the planet names.
This is a page I created to keep notes for students who are absent from school. It is simple to fill out and you can edit it to include your class subjects. I print a stack and put them in a folder to use for absent students. You could also fill it out digitally and e-mail to parents.
