Inspired by Dr. Seuss, this booklet will help little learners read sight words and gain confidence in their writing skills. Each page can be coupled with another page to encourage the identification of rhyming words (boat-goat, train-rain, etc.). Students will read this 10-page book, trace the words, and color the pictures. My students glued a picture of themselves on each page or drew a picture to show themselves in the scene.
Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss is a great resource to teach students rhyming words. This product allows students to read a few sentences from the book, then trace it, and has a space to draw a picture.
