Students choose a biome and an impact of humans card, which include types of pollution and industrialization (such as an oil spill or cutting down forests to build a shopping center). Then, they may discuss how the impact negatively or positively affects the biome. A worksheet is included to encourage more in-depth thought into each part of the biome that is impacted and space to draw before and after pictures of the biome.

Students can create a booklet of weather words to practice their handwriting skills, improve fine motor skills, or as a fun follow up work for a weather unit. Space is also included to draw each type of weather. This also makes a great science center option and spelling is not a problem because the weather word cards are included!
