Students will get a grasp on what it means to make an inference by looking for all the details in the picture and then making an inference about what is going on in the picture. My students loved this and works great in a small group.
This is a complete packet of activity pages. The pages are systematic so students understand the procedures. There are 18 activity pages with answer key. These cover the material chapter by chapter. This packet of activities includes directions, 3 activities to help develop a students understanding of a character in any novel in order to develop a an overall theme/opinion of the character. There is also a rubric that can be used in scoring the packet as a mini character project.
A great game that the students love to play in small groups or one student verse another student. It's great to show them how to make words using prefixes. This includes one black copy and one example that is ready to be used. After doing the activity bring groups together to see what words that came up with.
Students will use their knowledge of greek and latin suffixes to take familiar words and identify the suffix. This is great for students who have a knowledge of suffix and students who are just beginning. Can be done independently or with teacher guidance.
