Diamond problems help students learn simple factoring of quadratic trinomials by making it seem more lake a game or a puzzle. The top and bottom numbers represent b and c in the trinomial x^2+bx+c (there can't be a coefficient on x^2), and the left and right numbers represent the numbers in the binomial factors.

Full typed guided notes and performance task problems built in. Intro to Trig with problem based scenarios for each set of notes. Starts from the basics of Trig (Pythagorean theorem, simplifying radicals, special triangles, etc. ) and builds up to the Unit Circle.
Students will work though an activity where they are ask to cut out 24 different numbers (whole, pos, neg, fractions, square roots, fractional operations) and paste them onto a number line appropriately with an explanation.
Additionally, students are provided a number line with a, b, c, and 0. They must answer question based on the conceptual placement of these values and justify their reasoning.
This 5 page activity provides real life data about cancer rates asking the students to create exponential growth and decay models for the represented situation.
