Students will create an immigrant who came to America from another country. Countries have been outlined with examples of names, jobs, and clothing immigrants had during the Industrial Revolution when many immigrants began traveling to America through Ellis Island.
Students will analyze the political platform of two presidential candidates and see which candidate they want to vote for. Students will receive a ballot and submit their vote. I make a box for students to submit their ballot and give them an "I voted" sticker when they are finished.
