Teaching style

As a third-grade teacher, I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and accessible for all students. My teaching style is centered on building strong relationships with my students, creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where they feel encouraged to take risks and explore new ideas. I prioritize hands-on, interactive lessons that make learning come alive, incorporating movement, creativity, and real-world connections to keep students motivated and excited. I love designing resources that are flexible and adaptable, so teachers can tailor them to meet the unique needs of their classrooms. Whether it’s through differentiated instruction, project-based learning, or integrating arts into academics, my focus is always on fostering a love of learning while meeting educational standards.

My own education history

I have a diverse educational background that shapes my approach to teaching. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies with a concentration in North America from Salem State University. This unique field of study has equipped me with skills in critical thinking, communication, and empathy, which I apply in my classroom to foster a positive learning environment. Following my undergraduate studies, I pursued my Master’s degree in Effective Teaching from Sposato Graduate School of Education in Boston, MA. This program further honed my instructional strategies and deepened my understanding of how to create impactful learning experiences for my students. Together, these educational experiences have not only enriched my teaching practices but also inspired me to create resources that promote understanding, collaboration, and creativity in the classroom.
