Each partner solves their own set of one-step equations, but their answers should match their partner's answers. This allows groups to work on individual problem solving skills while allowing for collaboration to troubleshoot differing answers.

My own education history
I earned my undergraduate degree in business before doing a teacher certification program through the local community college. I started as a special education teacher but transitioned to a high school math teacher. I have my masters in education leadership and am partway through my masters in math education.
