I made this unit to squeeze in a ceramics unit with my intro to art classes! It teaches them the basics of ceramics, including how to make a pinch pot. Students make their chia pet using two pinch pots slipped-and-scored together to make a sphere. The folder includes written directions to print out, a project brainstorming worksheet, the unit presentation, and a rubric! :-)

Two projects completed in Adobe Photoshop - Vintage Bootleg 90s Graphic T-Shirt Designs, and Digital Painting in Photoshop using the brush settings to mimic texture and follow a Bob Ross tutorial. I created this lesson after being burnt out on teaching about video games - some of my classes needed a more step-by-step approach and they were drawing ski-ball and pinball machines, as well as table hockey. I created this unit for my advanced Graphic Design students, so they could practice digital painting beyond flat-style illustration! The slides follow a specific Bob Ross video, but I've outlined the basic steps so students can choose any of his tutorials they like. Also a printable document with the Brush Settings "cheat sheet" for students to reference while they work; these can be laminated and re-used! I adapted this project/unit for my graphic design course, I originally created a similar unit for an illustration class with limited computer access, this one is adapted for Adobe Illustrator! This lesson expands on the live paint tool and is great if your students are used to using that tool from a Low-Poly assignment. After converting the fills into their own shapes, students work on adding SHADOWS, HIGHLIGHTS, and TEXTURE to their characters and their illustration!
