This is a digital check using Google Sheets from multiplying and dividing decimals with negatives digital check. The correct answers light up green and the incorrect answers light up red. This gives the students an opportunity to rework the problem and find their mistake. I recommend having the students show their work on paper and turn in it as half of their grade for the assignment.

This activity is a great way to tie in simple interest and percents into the real world. I told my students to look up cars that were actually for sale. I even named local businesses to research. The students had to save the actual picture of the vehicle and use the actual sale price. If time permits, you can have them present. This was a really eye-opening project for most students. Hope you enjoy! Estimated time: 42-84 minutes
