Number Talks Poster - Nautical Themed
Included here is a nautical themed Number Talks poster. This would be a perfect fit for a nautical or ocean themed classroom. When I created this for my classroom, I was able to send this to a local print shop for a 2' by 3' poster and it came out looking wonderful! The poster is included in a high quality .PNG file. Experience
I have two and a half awesome years teaching middle school at a K-12 school! I'm most comfortable teaching writing and composition, but I've always enjoyed literature and I've quickly come to love teaching my social studies class as well.
Teaching style
I have a no-nonsense style with a side of fun! My students and I are always hard at work on something, but I always make time and take advantage of opportunities to use humor in the classroom and keep students engaged.
In English/Language Arts, I focus on building critical thinking skills and composition strategies. For Social Studies, I focus on providing opportunities for depth of knowledge and connections between the material and contemporary real-world events.

Additional biographical information
As a newbie teacher, I devote much of my time to making my classroom be the absolute best it can be! On my off-hours, I work a second job (yay Target discount!), run 5K's, and watch way too much reality tv.
