Study Folder: Tips, Tricks, and Hints
This download consists of a front and back page. The front page has ELA study aids and the back page has Math study aids. I included as much material as I could that would help any primary student. This can be used for the front and back of a binder. I have also laminated these pages to the front and back of a file folder, and stapled vocabulary words inside.

First Grader Hundreds Chart
This is a hundreds chart that I do with my first graders on the first day of school. It is a great tool for me to assess student's ability to write to 100 and identify numbers. After students have written to 100 if display the numbers (found on the 2nd page) on the board. After they color in the selected numbers, their page should reveal (student name, is a, 1st grader) the mystery picture.

Experience

Teaching style
I like to incorporate strategies such as Kagan and Whole Brain teaching throughout my lessons. I believe that these strategies along with technology and centers keep students engaged and make learning fun.
