These posters have been developed for each of the nine World History Units. This open-ended extra credit option allows students to choose the events they want to make thoughtful connections between. It guides them with stepped activities to explain how events are interconnected across time and geography to impact everyone.
The first step in planning. I color coded the State Pacing Guide with important information and added the math connections as well as critical vocabulary in color coded sections that I used in my classroom to organize my interactive vocabulary walls. As a visual learner I found this made my ability to process the standards much easier.

My own education history
I double majored and graduated from UGA in 2008 with a BA in History and a BS in Secondary Social Science education. I completed the gifted certification in Georgia in 2014 and am currently working on other degrees.
