Students will roll the die. The will color in one of the boxes of the number they land on.
Students can race each other to see who can finish first.
Great for centers.
Students can learn their numbers with this interactive book. Numbers one through five are illustrated. There is space for students to make their own representation of each number. My students used stickers, scraps of paper, hole punches and other things to show the amount.
Great for ELL students.
Students can practice counting and tallying in the classroom. They must identify objects and show the number and tally for amount.
This activity can be extended by graphing the data.
