About the store
I am in my tenth year as a public school orchestra director. For five years I taught at the junior high/middle school level and more recently I have been teaching elementary orchestra. I am a cellist and enjoy participating in symphonic and chamber music. I also have experience teaching private lessons and leading a children's choir.

Old Joe Clark- String Orchestra Fiddle Tune
This is an arrangement of the fiddle tune "Old Joe Clark" for grade 1 String Orchestra. It requires all instruments to play in D major (mixolydian) with C naturals. All instruments play some G string notes and Viola and Cello parts have occasional C string notes with fingerings marked in. The violin II part doubles the viola and the bass part has no shifting. Experience

Teaching style
My teaching style is based on developing trusting relationships with my students. I make use of peer-sharing, self-reflection, and frequent formative assessments. I value my students' musical experiences in and out of the classroom in various genres and believe that everyone can be musical.

I am proud to have started a high school orchestra program for which I was honored as founder in 2013.
