As I made these quizzes, I wanted to keep everything quick and efficient. With such limited time with our students, we can’t waste a single moment giving more written assessments than necessary. I'm Jillian and I've been teaching orchestra for the past fifteen years in Connecticut. I've taught at both the elementary and middle school level, and recently added middle school general music to my schedule, too!
My own education history
I earned my Bachelor of Music and Education from Syracuse University and my Master's in Music Education from Columbia University's Teacher's College.
Additional biographical information
As a fellow music educator, I certainly don’t claim to know everything there Is about being the perfect orchestra or music teacher. However, what I lack In perfection, I make up for in passion and enthusiasm. I have a lot of fun experimenting with new ways to stay organized and motivate my students, and I believe this excitement translates into the resources I create and offer on TPT.
