For the past few years, I have asked my students to create name tents to help me get to know them at the beginning of the year or semester. I had given my students a blank sheet of paper and asked them to write their names and a few fun facts about themselves... Ultimately, their handwriting would be too small to read, illegible, or they would fold the paper in half the wrong way! My own education history
I earned my Bachelor of Music and Education from Syracuse University and my Master's in Music Education from Columbia University's Teacher's College.
Additional biographical information
As a fellow music educator, I certainly don’t claim to know everything there Is about being the perfect orchestra or music teacher. However, what I lack In perfection, I make up for in passion and enthusiasm. I have a lot of fun experimenting with new ways to stay organized and motivate my students, and I believe this excitement translates into the resources I create and offer on TPT.
