Name Tent Activity
For the past few years, I have asked my students to create name tents to help me get to know them at the beginning of the year or semester. I had given my students a blank sheet of paper and asked them to write their names and a few fun facts about themselves... Interactive Fingering Charts for String Orchestra
One of my favorite smart music features is the ability to hover over a note to see the fingering... Unfortunately, I just don't have the budget to provide Smart Music for all of my students. Instead, I made my own interactive fingering chart for string orchestra! Students can click on the note they are unsure of and will be taken to a page that shows the fingering, an image of the note on the staff, and an audio sample of what the note should sound like. My own education history
I earned my Bachelor of Music and Education from Syracuse University and my Master's in Music Education from Columbia University's Teacher's College.

As a fellow music educator, I certainly don’t claim to know everything there Is about being the perfect orchestra or music teacher. However, what I lack In perfection, I make up for in passion and enthusiasm. I have a lot of fun experimenting with new ways to stay organized and motivate my students, and I believe this excitement translates into the resources I create and offer on TPT.
