About the store
Early Childhood & Special Education Resources | Social Emotional Learning | Hands-On Pre-K–3 Activities | Digital & Printable Curriculum Hi! I’m Lauren, the creator of Structured Special Ed. I’m a former K–6 self-contained special education teacher with 7 years of classroom experience and 3 years as a Social Emotional Learning & Behavior Specialist supporting grades Pre-K through 6. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for 8 years as an ABA therapist specializing in early intervention with young children ages 2–6. Currently, I am a professor of Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education, where I teach and mentor future educators. My passion is creating meaningful, hands-on resources that support diverse learners and make teaching a little easier for busy educators. In my store, you’ll find digital and printable activities, social emotional learning tools, adapted books, task cards, and engaging hands-on materials designed for learners working at the Pre-K to 3rd grade level. My goal is to help teachers save time while providing developmentally appropriate, effective, and fun resources for their students.

Additional biographical information

I understand the challenge of creating meaningful, differentiated lessons for diverse learners because I’ve lived it. As a former self-contained special education teacher and SEL/Behavior Specialist, I know how important it is to have resources that are both engaging for students and practical for teachers. That’s why everything I create is hands-on, teacher friendly and designed to meet students where they are. My mission is to support early childhood and special education teachers with resources that build confidence, encourage independence and make learning fun for every child.
