Hello. My name is Kailin. Welcome to 'Struggle Bus Shenanigans.' Here you will find all things educational and fun to help you survive the struggle bus...and maybe even enjoy it a little bit!
Things I LOVE...my boys, my fur babies, crafting, educating, thinking 'outside of the box' AND supporting my fellow moms and colleagues survive everyday life!
A little bit about me...
I am a mom to two boys and 4 fur babies. I have 20 years experience in the education field, both in a public and charter school setting. My experience includes teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade & 4th grade. Never brave enough for Kindergarten or 5th grade, but am a proud supporter. I have also been in the role of IB Coordinator, Curriculum Specialist, and am now currently an Assistant Principal of Elementary Curriculum. My passion for the IB [International Baccalaureate] and Core Knowledge frameworks are the backbone to everything I create and wish for all learners.
My wish for you is that you find something in my shop that can ease your everyday struggle, whether it's a last minute activity to add to your lesson, or are looking for an 'out of the box' idea to bring excitement and engagement into your classroom. We are all in this together!
