My version is special as I send home a borrowed reading buddy (stuffed animal), an "All About Me Poster" that I purchased seperately & already use, and a journal entry. Having a classroom aid or volunteer is incredibly helpful. This check list helps you organize the work you need them to do and gives them the independence and guidance to get it done. This is great for the beginning of the year or as an intervention for students struggling with foundational concepts. Check the skills you'd like the students to work with and what they need to do when they're done. Place this sheet on top of the worksheets and/or activities you want students to complete.
