Having a classroom aid or volunteer is incredibly helpful. This check list helps you organize the work you need them to do and gives them the independence and guidance to get it done. This is great for the beginning of the year or as an intervention for students struggling with foundational concepts. This sheet can be printed and placed in student daily reading folders that go home. I recommend placing your weekly sight word reading worksheets, sight word rings for the trimester, and flashcards specific to what each student needs to work on.
