About the store
I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Classroom aid or volunteer task checklist for student review or intervention

Having a classroom aid or volunteer is incredibly helpful. This check list helps you organize the work you need them to do and gives them the independence and guidance to get it done. This is great for the beginning of the year or as an intervention for students struggling with foundational concepts. Check the skills you'd like the students to work with and what they need to do when they're done. Place this sheet on top of the worksheets and/or activities you want students to complete.

About the store

Experience

I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Teaching style

Teaching to the whole child by incorporating brain breaks, opportunities to get wiggles out, and using the ukulele and guitar in my teaching as much as I can. I've written a few songs that use similar simple tunes and chords that are easy to quickly pick up and use for classroom learning. Each song only uses 3-4 of the same chords.
