About the store
I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Ukulele Question words song

Teaching question words and when to use a question mark can be tricky. This song is a great support to your lesson. Over time students learn the words and can use it as a tool in their writing (remembering when to use a question mark). I've even started singing the song during journal time to help cue students during their writing. Use your ukulele to lead the song with the class while they use their bodies to clap, stomp, jump, or make up motions to help with whole brain learning of the song. R

About the store

Experience

I learned to play the guitar and ukulele in my 40's and have loved bringing the joy of each instrument into my classroom daily. I do not have a singer's voice and love to have my class sing louder than me while I play the instrument. I want other teachers who have ever been curious about using the guitar or ukulele in their teaching, that it can be quick and easy to learn.

Teaching style

Teaching to the whole child by incorporating brain breaks, opportunities to get wiggles out, and using the ukulele and guitar in my teaching as much as I can. I've written a few songs that use similar simple tunes and chords that are easy to quickly pick up and use for classroom learning. Each song only uses 3-4 of the same chords.
